The Energy Bill Concession helps eligible South Australian households on low or fixed incomes with the cost of energy bills for their principal place of residence. The energy bill concessions are a South Australia Government scheme.
What you need to know
> South Australia residential Members can receive up to $223.01 per year (GST inclusive) to cover both electricity and gas payments.
> To be eligible, you must live at the property
> You must be listed first on the electricity bill (if your name is not listed first, ring Powerclub and we will update your account)
> You must hold an eligible concession card or receive an eligible Centrelink payment
> You mustn't live with anyone who has an income of more than $3,000 per year, unless they get an allowance from Centrelink or the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), or is your spouse, domestic partner or dependent.

If you're switching to Powerclub, you must:
> be listed first on your electricity bill
> ensure the details match your Centrelink or Department of Veterans’ Affairs card.
Energy retailers in South Australia cannot transfer your concession so you must contact ConcessionsSA once you receive your first electricity bill from Powerclub. The ConcessionsSA Hotline is 1800 307 758
